The full-year figures for 2014 reflected a better outlook for U.S. fastener manufacturers. In 2014 U.S. fastener exports rose 6.7% to $3.84 billion, despite a three-month slide in the final quarter. Fastener imports grew 8.7% to $4.88 billion, gaining strength in the second half of the year.(…)
