Fastenal Co. reported sales increased 8.3% to $313.5 million in May, driven by double-digit growth in manufacturing customer demand.
Manufacturing customer revenue grew 12.9% during the month, while non-residential construction customer sales gained 8.4%.
Overall daily sales rose 13.5% to $14.9 million in May.
Total personnel increased 15.9% to 15,442. Store personnel grew 16.9% to 10,474, while distribution personnel rose 15.2% to 2,134 and manufacturing personnel increased 11.4% to 636.(…)
