Back from the Columbus Fastener Show. Did not do a lot of Tweeting because there was not a lot to Tweet about. The good news for show management is that they run the largest and most successful fastener show in the United Stated — the National Fastener Show West in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, one of the costs of turning that show into such a big success is that it has caused the Columbus Show to diminish. Anyone who has ever read this blog KNOWS I am a big fan of the trade shows. Throw me in a room with six fastener people and a couple catalogs and I will find some value. …
