Daniel Rivalin posted a note on his Bazifasteners Twitter account about the “stunning news of the takeover of Nedschroef by Shanghai Prime Machinery Company”. According to Daniel, Nedschroef is an “institution in Europe-as a manufacturer of forming machines and of components for automotive”. As Daniel is based in Europe, I think the news is harder for him to absorb than it might be for those of us located in the United States. We know the Nedschroef name, but it is not as common in our market. I am sure there are a lot of U.S. based distributors that have never done business or even had contact with Nedschroef.
