I had an opportunity to attend the Metropolitan Fastener Distributors Association table top show this week and was very impressed with the results. As with any regional table top show, getting distributors to attend can make or break a show. Though I do not have a specific count my impression is that they had many distributors in attendance especially in the late afternoon and early evening. And, honestly, suppliers always need to network with other suppliers at an event like this. It gives them a chance to compare notes, get a pulse on how others see business and often visit with exhibitors that are either their suppliers or customers. (…)
