Simplified shipping model allows customers to enjoy the same online benefits of larger retailers but with the service and selection of a niche, specialty fastener distributor.
FMW Fasteners has rolled out a streamlined shipping model that has already gained wide acceptance in the world of large online retailers like Amazon and eBay; free and flat rate shipping. Effective January, 2011 all online orders placed through FMW Fasteners’ online store (http://www.fmwfasteners.com) that are $25.00 or more ship free. Any orders placed online that are less than $25.00 ship for a flat rate of $5.00.
“The fastener industry as a whole has been very slow to adopt certain business processes and practices that are considered commonplace in other industries,” said Taha Raja, General Manager of FMW Fasteners.
