U.S. fastener exports and imports fell in February after double-digit gains in January.
U.S. fastener imports of iron and steel fasteners (HTS Code: 7318) declined 10% to $360,178,346 and exports also dropped 1% to $299,094,442.
The top five exporters of fasteners to the U.S. during February were Chinese Taiwan (down 22% month-to-month to $108.85 million); Mainland China (down 17.2% to $79.83 million); Japan (up 12.8% to $55.57 million); Canada (up 33.5% to $25.12 million); and Germany (down 10% to $23.10 million). (…)
