Fastener Distributor’s Index (FDI) October 2012 Overall Index Conditions worsened, but sales improved.
Fastener Distributor’s Index (FDI) in October dropped to 46.8 from September’s 48.2, which showed that the condition worsened in October. But as in September, the details offer a better picture than the headline. For instance, the overall index worsened, but the Sales piece improved (48.6, vs. 45.7 in September), its second highest reading of the last five months. (…)
