Flaig + Hommel GmbH, in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institut and the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie, has developed the FH FiberLock, especially for use in lightweight applications.Based in Aldingen, Germany, the company says the FH FiberLock is a modern, resuable, state of the art connection for fibre plates. For installation, the FH FiberLock consists of a bolt and an expansion sleeve to be inserted into a borehole. When tightening the hex nut, the profiled sleeve becomes locked into the borehole and forms a reliable and stable attachment – resulting in simple and fast assembly/disassembly.(…)
